And oh what a story it is...
So Sunday we went to Saint John Imperial Theater, a very, very old building still used to showcase entertainment acts.
We wanted to see inside the theater so we took a plunge and decided to go see one of the few acts running in September. This plopped us front and center a the Carlton Show Band's Reunion Tour, a very humorous band, who, back in the day rivaled the Beatles a few times for top hits.
They were a group of now middle-aged men (if not a tad over middle-aged) who decided it was time to show their fans that they still had it in them. The crowd was well...much older than us....to say the least, but we were there for very different reason from most of the fans.
Despite not knowing the music or band at all I found myself tapping my foot the the music and chuckling at the bizarre, but somehow funny humour.
When the show was over we went home...as we pulled into our usual parking spot we realized someone was in it...no big deal...we'll jut park on the street like we've done 100's of times before.
We did a U-turn, dodging a group of lingering...hmm...guys and then grabbed our stuff and then went inside.
It was a peaceful evening and sleep and then when my other half got to the car to go to work he noticed..well...the car door was open. Great!
Everything was moved about in poor Jerusalem but luckily we had left the car doors open so nothing was broken into.
Most of the day we thought nothing was missing until.....

It makes it extra funny when you come from the shower having locked yourself out because well...you really have nothing.
Our heads started thinking and we soon remembered our new landlords phone number was on the fridge...sweet...we'll just call...
Ah-ha! More surprises...the house phone has since been disconnected because of early mentioned "new landlords".
Hmm..now what?!!? Ask our new neighbors if they have a phone or run across the street..with only a towel to borrow our friends phone...??
Friend it was!! (I didn't do the running...I hid in the house while Alex trotted across the street with his nice green towel wrapped around his waist).
Upon his return he soon realized what had been stolen from Jerusalem...his swiss army knife!!...the one that I saw Sunday evening settled between the two seats and then I thought..hmm it will be safe there...uh...not so much.
Well we wanted that swiss army knife to see if we could break into our own bedroom through the window, since, our new landlords were not picking up their phone.
No luck with the minimal tools we had, we scrapped the idea of breaking into our bedroom through the window and decided to make supper...in our towels.
We decided to try our new neighbors phone to call the landlords, and they did say they would let us know if they heard back from the landlords.
20min later we had a knock on our door saying the landlords were coming soon and would let us back in.
Right after we had started supper or lovely landlords arrived and let us back into our cozy bedroom..
I have never wanted to wear my clothes more than when I was stuck in a wet towel...cooking supper...
Oh, what a Monday it has...
I wonder what excitement tomorrow will bring....!?!?!?!
I'll keep you posted ;)
