This is my apology post for being a crappy blogger.
There are a number of reasons for it though:
1. I have no internet at home
2. I am stupid busy at work
3. I really don't have any interesting things to say...
Well, to me they may not be interesting, but to others perhaps they are.
I will be updating my blog a little bit more.
The next one will be Amber's Wedding....
Then from there I will update you with some of my summer adventures. (Including football games, Pysanka Festival, Rodeos, trips to the lake, and much more).
Stay tuned!

Oh the Wedding...(not mine)!!!
So my best friend's wedding is getting closer and closer. It's actually rather exciting! At the beginning of May I picked up my bridesmaid dress, and yesterday I picked it up from getting alterations done. I've also walked around in my fuschia shoes a little so that they aren't quite as harsh when I walk in them on the wedding day.
Friday night I started brainstorming great memories of Amber and I for my maid of honour speech, and doing so brings on mixed emotions. I'm soo happy that Amber found that special someone, but sad that it's going to be a little bit harder to enjoy some more memories together.
Today I worked on organizing some of the paperwork including printing off itineraries and confirmation numbers and sorting out times and dates so that they are stuck in my head.
It's kind of crazy how much work it is to be travelling to a wedding and being in the wedding party!
Either way, we leave for Ontario in 20 days and I'm stoked!!!

The Move...

So, this weekend I'm heading into Edmonton to help my best friend and her fiance' load up their u-haul. On Sunday they are leaving Alberta for good and moving to Ontario.
It's almost as if the reality of it hasn't kicked in yet. I think once I haven't seen her for a few months then I will really notice that she isn't just a few hours away. It won't be a weekend trip to visit each other anymore Amber.
This friend, Amber, is also getting married in exactly 53 days. I, along with a few others from here, will be heading out to Ontario from June 6-12.
That week also involves my birthday, so it is sure to be a good time.
The more I think about Amber & Ian moving away, the sadder I get, but, despite all of that, and me not wanting her to leave, I will still be there on Sunday to wave them off.
Congratulations on finishing university Amber!!!! AND I'll be seeing you on Friday for a packing party :)

Red Eyes
Anyhow, with all this red eye annoyance I've been thinking why eyes get red.
My first thought was that it was caused by my contacts. I wore them yesterday, and even yesterday they were sore.
Today they just look (and feel) ridiculous.
Even thought I have my glasses on....
Anyhow...I've bought some "Worplace" Visine, and it helps instantly, but about an hour later and my eyes are still super sore.
Could it be because I sit in front of a computer A LOT?
Or is it just thought I desperately need to go to the eye doctor, but am trying to postpone it until my health care plan kicks in?
Hmm....
I hope I'm not doing more damage to my eyes because I'm waiting...hopefully soon I can make it to the optometrist.
Maybe i also just need sleep and rest....
I don't know....i'm not a doctor....

Century Old Man
I asked a few of my friends a while back what some questions would be if they got a chance to talk with a 100 year old man. I was asking them this, because I was in fact sitting down to talk with a century old man.
This man, who still lives on his own in the small hamlet of Ranfurly, Alta. is one of the most interesting and funny people you will ever meet.
This story was and still is especially hard for me, because his character is so unique that it is terribly hard to portray into the story, but I hope I did just a little bit,

Less than 100 days...

I found out the other day from my bff that her wedding will in fact be in less than 100 days. Crazy!
I also was sent a message from her asking why I hadn't posted a blog in a while, so this one's for you, Amber!
The wedding preparations are coming along from what I can tell. As you may know from an earlier post we have ordered the bridesmaid dresses, and we have booked our accomodations.
We have also booked our hotel for our one-night stay at Niagara Falls and we are looking into costs of rentals cars.
As the maid of honour, I am reading up on what I need to do, and so I am starting to prep an itinerary and make a tentative plan for Amber's stagette.
I never realized how much work a wedding could be until this, and it's not even mine!
Glad I have no chance of having a wedding anytime soon....
I am getting really excited for Amber's wedding...but terribly sad that she and her fiance' will be packing up and moving to Thunder Bay, Ontario in less than two months.
It actually makes me sad to even think about it.
At least you can continue the tradition of reading my blogs from T.B, Amber!
