I need a Valentine

So since I'm single and all...

I thinks somebody should be my Valentine.

I've had quite a few requests come in, but they are already taken by their significant....so, I don't want to cause any ...tension.

4-H Public Speaking

About a month ago I was asked to judge 4-H public speaking, and so, today is the day.

I spent a lot of my school years attending 4-H. I think it worked out to be 12 years. Anyhow, each year I had to public speaking. It is something that, for the kids, is quite nerve racking.

Now I get my chance, like the judges did to me, to tell them that they will appreciate it in the long run.

Just like i have....

I am a reporter, and 4-H for one, has given me the ability to call up complete strangers, or walk up to people I don't know and ask them something.

It also gave me a head-start in university. I knew what to do.

So, with that being said.

I will keep you posted on how my 4-H judging goes.

I'm excited to give back to a group that gave so much to me.

Atlas Shrugged Trailer-Part 1

Some of you may know, on my 5-week road-trip across Canada I got to listen to most...and i do mean most (but not all) of Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged.

I have been attempting to finish it, (and I will before I watch the movies) but I have gotten extremely busy.

Anyhow, the point is they are now making a movie about it.

Part 1 is supposed to come out in April...i think.

Work

I've been working for my local newspaper for just over two weeks now and as of today I've been involved in the publication of five papers.

I have been busy; hence why the blog entries have been lacking. It is good, I am finally able to not stress about money and I am not worrying about how well....single I am.

I am definitely single.

Anyhow, tonight I am covering Zabava-a Ukrainian supper/show/dance that is expected to see close to 500 people in attendance. It will be a low-key, chill event and I'm definitely looking forward to watching some good Ukrainian dancing.

As for other stuff I am up to. Not much.

I'm hanging out with friends. I'm re-engaging in my practicing of my lack of pool skills and i'm contemplating enrolling in boot-camp and yoga classes that start at the end of the month.
